PENTECOSTAL RESOURCE COLLECTION

This special collection features books and periodicals on the pentecostal-charismatic movements.  The collection is directly tied to the curriculum of the institution. Rare and fragile materials may be found in the IPHC Archives & Records Center.  The collection was begun in 1968 by then President Scott Muse.  It features works by authors of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, as well as Assemblies of God authors and writers from other groups.  Classic academic works related to Pentecostalism are also included.  There are some periodicals going back to the 1930's for the IPHC and to the 1950's for the Assemblies of God.  Please visit the PRC blog for more detailed information.

NOEL BROOKS COLLECTION - SCU Archives Department

The library is also home to some of the personal books of the Rev. Noel Brooks, a noted English Pentecostal educator, minister, and writer.  The room also serves as a quiet reading room and small conference room for faculty.  Some of the books were part of the Bristol Pentecostal Holiness Bible College in Bristol, England.  Mr. Brooks wrote, for many, years the adult lessons for the IPHC and many of his notes for those lessons, as well as classroom notes, are in the collection.  Also in this room are the SCU Archives and Historical Records (yearbooks, catalogs, various files related to the history of the university since 1946).  Access to the records are possible through application to the Director of the Library Services. For more information contact the Director by email at marilyn.hudson@swcu.edu or by mail to Library Director, SCU, P.O. Box 340, Bethany, Ok 73008.
